HearMe, Listen to enjoy, Listen to Learn. Is this app for kidzzz!! Noooo… you are mistaken – it’s for everyone who loves to lie on their bed and hear stories. Hearing stories is great, do you know why? Because all the drama takes place in your head. A wise man once said “Imagination and Creativity can change the world”.
HearMe is a simple AudioBook app with some amazing features. It is user-friendly and easy to use. It also has some great accessibility features that would help all, not only people with difficulties.

Version History
We Started Working on developing an Android Audio book App.
In our V2 Release we
- Added the ability to play/pause audio from a static Audio source.
- Added Dark and Light Mode Support.
- Various Accessibility improvements.
During the V3 releases, We
- Created the app icon and the splash screen with animation effect.
- Added Text to Speach Support to the app to improve Accessibility.
In the Final release, We
- Added the Ability to Play audio over a Network Strean using Firebase as the backend.
- Added Firebase Authentication for users to Register and Login into the App.
- Added the ability to reset the password if the user forgot his/her password while Loging in.
- Added the ability to check if the device is connected to a network source for streaming the audio files over the internet and shows an alert if the device is offline.
- Created Natural Human Sounding AI based Audio books for the App using Nuance Communications.
In Version 5 we
- Added the ability to change the App theme Independent of the Device’s System Theme.
- Added Self-Voicing functionally
- Added the ability change the TTS Settings for the Device directly from the app.
- Prevented the Player screens from rotating while playing the audio files from Firebase.
- Added the ability to view and navigate the website directly within the App.

Second Project
Web hosting using Microsoft Azure
For the Project for Modern Operating Systems, we have designed a website to promote the HearMe App. The website displays the information about the HearMe app and highlights its features and versions. We have designed a Word Press Site and hosted it on Microsoft Azure.
